Travel Photo Journal | Athens & Hydra

Like many, Greece has always been on my bucket list. A country so romanticised that France is the only other country that holds a candle to her. I've been waiting what seems like my entire life for this trip, and I was able to finally make it with best friends. Living the dream, as they say.

We spent four nights in Athens, and four on Hydra Island. I took along my DSLR for the first time in years, and quickly remembered how fun it is to capture my travels. Below are some of my favourites. Scroll through, and experience Greece through my eyes.

I won't be going into much detail about where we stayed at, ate, etc. in this post, but don't hesitate to comment below or email me directly for recommendations or advice.

Part II: Hydra Island. One hour from Athens by ferry.

Cats, donkeys, and horses everywhere.

Eudaimonia (Greek: εὐδαιμονία [eu̯dai̯moníaː]) is a Greek word commonly translated as happiness or welfare; however, "human flourishing" has been proposed as a more accurate translation.
