Review: YSL Le Teint Touch Éclat Foundation

Illuminating Foundation, SPF 19

Branching out from YSL's cult Touche Éclat, this foundation claims to be 'weightless' and highlights and contours the face. While I wouldn't say it's weightless, I do think that it is lightweight and a good everyday foundation. It blends really easily, is build-able, and has a dewy finish. I use about half a pump for sheer coverage and on days when I want to cover up my sun spots more, I use a full pump.

It's quite easy to work with and reminds me a lot of Chanel's Vitalumière Aqua, albeit a bit heavier. I would recommend a foundation base and a translucent powder on top (as it does not last very long) and it's probably best suited for people with normal/combination skin. I just use my hands to apply.

The foundation is a bit pricey but a bit does go a long way and is a good investment if you want a natural, staple foundation.

Price: 55 USD, 400 HKD
